Nancy Slowik, a well-known naturalist and an instructor at the New York Botanical Garden, will lead a walk along the Brett Park section of the Greenway.  Nancy will help us identify the many different plants, shrubs and trees that grow there. She also is a gifted birder, so bring binoculars to see the many birds that come to this part of the Eastern Flyway along the Hackensack River.  We will meet at the swing bridge at the end of Riverview Avenue/Old New Bridge Road, near Sanzari’s New Bridge Inn.  Street parking is available.
